Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2025

At Pageel, we prioritize your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Pageel (and Pageel CMS).

1. Server-Side Proxies

Pageel uses a secure backend proxy to communicate with Git API. When you use Pageel CMS, you provide a Git Token or credentials which are hash-verified and temporarily stored in HttpOnly session cookies. They are never continuously saved or sent to third parties.

2. Data Storage

API Keys & Tokens: Your Personal Access Tokens (e.g., GitHub Token) are stored securely in your browser's SessionStorage or LocalStorage. We encrypt these tokens using the Web Crypto API before saving them locally. These tokens are never transmitted to any server owned by Pageel or REDD CO., LTD. They are sent directly from your browser to your Git provider's API (e.g., api.github.com).

Content: All content you create or edit is sent directly to your configured Git repository. We do not act as an intermediary for your data.

3. Third-Party Services

Git Providers: To function, Pageel connects to third-party Git providers (GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, etc.). Please review their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.

Hosting: If you use the hosted version of Pageel (e.g., on Vercel), the hosting provider may collect access logs (IP addresses) for security and performance monitoring.

4. Analytics

We may use anonymous, privacy-focused analytics (such as Plausible or simple Vercel Analytics) to understand usage patterns. We do not track individual users or collect personally identifiable information (PII).
